by Rainier on Dec. 16, 2003 @ 11:22 a.m. PST

Whiptail Interactive, a global publisher of PC games, today announced that the kung fu action role-playing game Blade & Sword has gone gold. The game will ship on December 22, 2003 with an MSRP of $29.99 and has been rated M for Mature.

“Blade & Sword is an action-packed RPG blending ancient Chinese magic and kung fu combat,” said Fred Heslop, President of Whiptail Interactive.
Developed by China’s Pixel Studio, Blade & Sword features detailed martial arts combat amidst the magical mysteries of ancient China. Unlike traditional ARPG methods of turn based point and click attack, Blade & Sword gives the players control of each move in the style of a Kung Fu action game. Armed with various weapons and magic, players can create unique combo attacks while they fend off the plethora of enemies, each with their own AI.
