'Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge' (Xbox) Gets Downloadable Content

Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge combines thrilling aerial combat with the swashbuckling style of a Hollywood action-adventure movie. Set in an alternate 1930s world of gunship diplomacy and sinister intrigue, Crimson Skies lets you pilot powerful aircraft against nefarious air pirates and behemoth war zeppelins.

Small, agile and armed to the teeth with a pair of machine guns on each wing and a secondary rapid-fire machine cannon, the lightly armoured Fury is made for dog fighting. The Fury's manoeuvrability is ideal for the twists, turns and confined spaces of the Caverns. In the newest multiplayer map, bases are located in two cavernous tunnels connected by a single, twisting — and often deadly — passage. While flying aces race through the perilous passage at breakneck speeds, pilots lacking the intestinal fortitude for such skilled flying can play it safe by manning one of three AA guns that defend each base. But whatever players' individual roles may be, victory in these dangerous skies requires strategy and focused teamwork.

Topping off these free offerings is a downloadable Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge skin for Windows Media Player available from the official site (http://www.xbox.com/crimsonskies/). This red-hot skin brings the high-flying action of Crimson Skies to your PC, showcasing unique analogue controls and a Devastator-inspired look.

Combining thrilling dogfights with the swashbuckling style of a Hollywood action-adventure movie, Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge raises the bar for aerial combat. Set in an alternate 1930s world of gunship diplomacy and sinister intrigue, gamers pilot powerful aircraft against nefarious air pirates and behemoth war zeppelins. Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge for Xbox is also armed to the teeth with full Xbox Live support. Up to 16 players can battle online or by System Link in an array of game modes including Dogfight, Team Dogfight, Flag Heist, Wild Chicken, Keep Away and Team Keep Away. More information about Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge, as well as in-depth strategies and a fan site kit with all the trimmings, are available on the official site, at http://www.xbox.com/crimsonskies/. Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge is now available for an estimated retail price of £39.99 (UK.).
