THQ Inc. today announced the release of PRIDE FC for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system. Created exclusively for PlayStation 2 by Anchor of Japan, PRIDE FC is now available at major retail outlets nationwide... Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. announced today that World Tour Soccer 2003 from the 989 Sports group is now available in stores, marking the latest release of the critically acclaimed videogame franchise, developed exclusively for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system.

PRIDE FC's in-depth control system features robust move-sets for each fighter based on their style of fighting. These various disciplines include, Muy Tai, Jujitsu, Karate and Kickboxing. Players can choose between an international roster of more than twenty fighters that includes Royce Gracie, Ken Shamrock, Don Frye, Kazushi Sakuraba and Wanderlei Silva. Each fighter's model is scaled at 5000 polygons and depicts blood and sweat. Gamers can hone their strategy for devastating one-hit knockouts, match ending submissions and jaw shattering combos. Developed by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe's London Studios, World Tour Soccer 2003 features the tightest, most realistic soccer action ever produced on PlayStation 2. The incredibly smart artificial intelligence (AI) will allow gamers to use the full array of special moves and managerial tactics as they move the ball up and across the pitch in an attempt to score the game winning goal.
