'Counter-Strike' - Gaming Network

by Thomas on April 7, 2003 @ 5:12 a.m. PDT

The Counter-Strike Gaming Network (CSGN) announced that they have become the first UK league to use Game2XS' revolutionary Instant Game Server system and high-speed infrastructure.

"We know from our forums that there is already a healthy appetite amongst the existing Counter Strike community for Game2XS' technology," says James Tromans, CSGN's founder. "We believe that the quality of Instant Game Server combined with its ease of use will hugely benefit our existing clans and help us to expand our league."

Game2XS' Instant Game Server allows CSGN clans to set-up a server in seconds via a simple web style interface. The interface allows league administrators to control virtually all available server settings while avoiding command lines and configuration files. And with Game2XS' high speed fully International server infrastructure, CSGN can easily expand into Europe.

"This is a great opportunity for us, Counter Strike is the number one online FPS, and demands the high-speed infrastructure that Game2XS can deliver, " added Jonathan Bale, Managing Director Of Game2XS.
