Second Life is a 3-D world where everyone you see is a real person and every place you visit is built by people.

As of today, new and current residents will have the opportunity to purchase memberships in increments ranging from monthly to yearly to lifetime. The pricing is as follows:

  • Monthly Membership: $14.95 per month
  • Quarterly Membership: $39.95 per 3 months (Save 10%)

  • Lifetime Membership: $225 Lifetime (limited Lifetime Memberships available)

New applicants can become official Second Life residents by registering for an account at www.secondlife.com. Once registered, a simple 10MB download of the Second Life viewer is all they need to get started and begin a free 5-day trial membership.

  • Operating System: Windows 2000, NT or XP
  • Video Card: Nvidia GeForce 2 (32MB RAM) or higher, or ATI Radeon 8500 (32MB RAM) or higher
