'Europa 1400: The Guild' - Update Patch Available NOW

Get the Europa 1400: The Guild v1.05 Beta off Worthplaying (5mb)

Bugs & Crashes:

  • Taskswitch will work now
  • >Blacken the name< will work normal
  • Bugs in the hotkey routines are fixed
  • Drawing selection frames with the T&L.exe are functional without problems
  • Evidence disappeared for no appearent reason
  • No more purse cutting when there is not enough cash
  • A bug in the family tree is fixed
  • Kidnapped characters will stay in the cell
  • If a human player was kidnapped while being inside of a building, he would only show up in the cell if he left that building
  • During a kidnapping action there will be no random events
  • At the end of a kidnapping action the kidnapped character will be released
  • The scrolling with the right mouse button in the city view will work normal
  • The prison can be upgraded by the mayor
  • The prison had a purchasing button which has been removed
  • Once the human player entered the prison cell he was only able to leave it using quickjumps
  • The button >Office overview< disappeared sometimes
  • Not all tooltips were working properly
  • If the player initiated a >combat< or >stealth< training for a thief, robber or guardian at the end of a round, a message appeared at the beginning of the next round stating that the training was finished, but there was no effect
  • There was a crash concerning the 2D-map when the player owned most of the city and had lots of employees
  • When the dies and continues the game with a character of a different gender the character mesh wasn't updated
  • From time to time employees wouldn'd leave the workshop at the end of the working day
  • The human player was able to purchase buildings for which he had insufficient privileges in the town hall
  • Occasionally if the player repeatedly pressed the right mouse button the game would crash
  • If the human player inherited a workshop he was unable to use the masters' certificate if his own masters' degree was too low
  • Various causes for crashes were resolved

Multiplayer:

  • After the death of a human player his talent values are now set to zero
  • Kidnapped human players are now asked by a master for ransom
  • The season is now displayed correctly on the form at the beginning of a new round
  • The form for entering the player name can no longer be closed using the >Back< button
  • The message for taking part in an auction had the button >No< - this button is deleted now and the text has been changed

AI:

  • NPCs upgrade there buildings correctly
  • NPCs are much more active now
  • AI-master of the thieves guild now initiates kidnapping actions and asks for ransom
  • NPCs will engage the Regulars table much more slowlier
  • The city-AI will not sell any buildings which are in the progress of being build

Balancing:

  • The effects of the individual talent values were adapted
  • The aggressivity of the NPCs in the advanced game was increased
  • Kidnapped human players now have the possibility to attempt an outbreak
  • AP bonuses for improvements were increased
  • The probability for kidnappings was lowered
  • The probability for extorting protection money was lowered
  • When attacking a building the values of the talent >stealth< of the attacker and the victim which are used to evaluate the success of such an action got mixed up. This has been fixed.
