ABOUT POP IDOL – THE OFFICIAL VIDEO GAME
Pop Idol – The Official Video Game is coming to PlayStation 2 and PC this November and is set to be the mass-market game of the year. It's a brilliant music-based rhythm-action game, complete with Dance Mat mode, where you become one of the hopefuls and compete as a singer through the auditions, the heats and on to the finals. Players have to face comments on their performance from a computer-generated Simon Cowell – making him the ultimate end-of-level game boss. Will it be praise or will you hear "Rubbish. Not a Pop Idol, not now, not ever!" Gameplay is all about rhythm and timing as players control the singing voice of a Pop Idol contestant in brilliant rhythm-action gameplay. Match the beats and sing it sweet. Lose the rhythm and your voice quivers, fades and goes way off key. Featuring 40 smash hit songs.
