THQ and Nickelodeon today announced that Jimmy Neutron: Jet Fusion is now available for the PlayStation2 computer entertainment system and Nintendo GameCube at retail outlets throughout North America. A one-hour television special with the same storyline will air on Nickelodeon on October 13, the day THQ is scheduled to release the Game Boy Advance version of Jimmy Neutron: Jet Fusion.

"Media companies and videogame publishers are working more closely together than ever before to develop exciting entertainment content," said Jim Kennedy, Senior Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs, THQ. "Jimmy Neutron: Jet Fusion represents just one example of the many synergies between Nickelodeon and THQ. Our long-standing relationship has enabled us to deliver the best possible interactive products to kids of all ages over the past five years."

"The new Jimmy Neutron: Jet Fusion videogames translate the popular Jimmy Neutron character into an exciting interactive experience for fans of the show," said Steve Youngwood, Vice President, Nickelodeon Media Products Group. "We are excited to launch the videogame in conjunction with the Jet Fusion television special and to further strengthen our relationship with THQ."

In Jimmy Neutron: Jet Fusion for PlayStation 2 and GameCube, the evil Professor Calamitous captures his nemesis and the greatest super spy ever -- Jet Fusion. Retroville is accidentally converted into an Asian village, a thick jungle, an undersea world, a Buccaneer ship and the "calamitous den." Players must maneuver Jimmy through these worlds to rescue Jet Fusion, stop the evil professor Calamitous and return Retroville to its original state.
