'Knights of Honor' - Info & Screens

by Rainier on Sept. 3, 2003 @ 10:00 a.m. PDT

Although not particularly widespread in the Middle Ages these harbors play an important role in Knights of Honor. In addition to their usefulness in protecting coastal areas they also play an important role in expansion. Naturally, harbors can only be built or found in realms with a coastline. There is a limit of one harbor to each of these realms.

Once the harbor has been built traders will begin to call at the docks, providing players with additional tax income. Troops can be loaded onto ships in the harbor for transport overseas. If a player builds a lighthouse for their harbor they can then post troops in the lighthouse to keep an eye on the coast. A kingdom at the highest stage of development can also receive a bonus by importing exotic goods through their harbor.
