'Chester Adventures' - Screens

There will be an oppurtunity to execute adventures in many different enviromental locations, such as medieval and full of mysteries castles, pirate islands or dragon lairs.

The story begins with the return of a dreadful wizard from the Beyond World. Having acquired the powerful talismans of the Black Magic, he wants to regain control over the world. The only way to stop him is to recover the shards of a magic artifact hidden in different parts of the world. An old mage summons forth his young apprentice Chester and gives him a map that indicates the hideouts where the shards of the artifact can be found.

Chester sets off for the journey of his life, yet, he is unaware that the artifact is protected by mysterious Guards and their henchmen. Indeed, they have set many traps for anyone who would dare to take over the artifact. Also, Chester doesn't suspect that the fearsome wizard has gained knowledge about the very artifact and, therefore, has sent his warriors to prevent Chester from accomplishing the task.

Chester Adventures is an action-adventure oldschool-arcade game where Chester can run, jump, and fight with many humorous foes. Including many platform jumping and arcade puzzles will provide to all players many hours of fun.

Chester Adventures is based on Magnum Engine, the Heaven X engine wich includes:

  • Vast and open spaces and indoor environment
  • Expanded animation system that features bone system
  • Vehicle handling system together with the driving model and physics
  • Physics allowing for an interaction with the game's environment
  • 50.000 to 100.000 polygons per frame ยท Particle system
  • Dynamic interplay of light and shadow
  • Varied weather effects (rain, snow).

The release date is planned for fall 2004, Heaven X is searching for a US and Europe publisher for his third title.
