About Judy

As WP's managing editor, I edit review and preview articles, attempt to keep up with the frantic pace of Rainier's news posts, and keep our reviewers on deadline, which is akin to herding cats. When I have a moment to myself and don't have my nose in a book, I like to play action/RPG, adventure and platforming games.

'Ghost Recon 2' (Xbox) Comes Earlier Than Expected

by Judy on Nov. 4, 2004 @ 2:38 p.m. PST

Ghost Recon 2 is set in the chaotic battlefields of tomorrow, and will offer gamers an insider's view of the way large scale conflicts will be fought in the near future.

Developed by Red Storm Entertainment, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon 2 for Xbox features a realistic storyline set in the hostile terrain of North Korea in 2011, a killer Lone Wolf single-player mode based on prototypical soldier-of-the-future combat equipment currently being developed by the US government, a brand new over-the-shoulder camera angle (in addition to the beloved first-person perspective), and incredible graphics and technology that will immerse gamers in the chaos of the war of tomorrow.

Xbox Live fans will enjoy Xbox Live 3.0 features, 4-players split screen offline of through Xbox LIVE, 24 multiplayer maps, support for 16 players, 7 co-op modes and 10 adversarial modes.
