About Judy

As WP's managing editor, I edit review and preview articles, attempt to keep up with the frantic pace of Rainier's news posts, and keep our reviewers on deadline, which is akin to herding cats. When I have a moment to myself and don't have my nose in a book, I like to play action/RPG, adventure and platforming games.

Another day, another batch of game trailers were released. Instead of giving them all their own posts, we grouped them, and so far there are trailers for :

  • The Godfather - Trailer
  • Bloodline - Trailer
  • Metal Wolf Chaos - Trailer
  • Shadow of Rome - Trailer #6
  • Still Life - Teaser

Get the Godfather teaser trailer off WP (4mb)

This is the first teaser trailer from EA's upcoming action game The Godfather, based on the gangster movie trilogy. This trailer premiered on SpikeTV during the Video Game Awards 2004. Don't expect a lot of material, its quite short and does not show any ingame footage

Get the Bloodline trailer off WP (11mb)

Bloodline is a upcoming PC action-horror game that goes deep to the roots of horror entertainment. The main hero in the game is young lawyer Jim Card. He is a counsel to Dr. Brown who stands to murder charges at local court. Jim agrees with Dr. Brown's insane condition and undergoes hypnosis trying to find out what happened but is forced to pursue the roots of evil far back in time and visit some of Dr. Brown's cruel and ruthless ancestors. The whole Brown's family is connected by deadly curse uttered in the past like a long bloody line (thanks Tiscali).

Get the Metal Wolf Chaos trailer off WP (18mb)

In this unusual giant robot action game, the president of the United States dons powerful battle armor to defend his country against invading forces.

Get the Shadow of Rome trailer off WP (68mb)

Shadow of Rome has been designed to allow players the opportunity to venture throughout the world of ancient Rome by flawlessly switching between Agrippa and Octavius, each of whom have their own area of expertise. Playing Agrippa lends itself more to action while Octavius is towards the more stealth and adventure elements of the game. To remain true to the Roman era, players will have to use objects in the environment and weapons of the day such as stones, slingshots, spears and swords in order to progress through the game. Also, situations will arise when Agrippa or Octavius will rely on nothing but their hands in order to combat those impeding his quest to absolve Uesnius.

Get the Still Life trailer off WP (3mb)

Victoria McPherson is a brilliant young FBI agent who's investigating a serial murder case. The body count is now at five and she has no real leads, nothing but a mountain of circumstantial evidence and a boss who's breathing down her neck. In order to take a break from it all, she decides to visit her father in the suburbs. Since it's close to the Christmas holidays, she and her father talk about their family, including Victoria's grandfather, who used to be a private investigator. This discussion leads Victoria to read one of her grandfather's old case files, a file which reveals an uncomfortably high number of similarities between a seventy-five year old case in Europe and the current string of killings in Chicago...
