Matrix Games and X1 Software announced today that Case Blue, the first of two expansions due to release this week for IL-2 Sturmovik (compatible with the ACE Expansion pack), is now available for sale from the Matrix Games website.

Case Blue places you into the role of either a German or Russian ace pilot. With your wit and skill you will battle either for a second German advance further into Soviet Russia, or mount the Russian defense against the German Luftwaffe. With over 1,000 different missions, Case Blue packs in a lot of entertainment for flight sim fans on a budget. Enjoy over 400 multiplayer co-operative missions and over 550 single player missions that will keep your eyes as busy as your hands until the end of the war.

Case Blue requires either IL-2 Sturmovik or IL-2 Forgotten Battles to play. IL-2 Sturmovik is a registered trademark of Ubisoft. Neither of these expansions is officially produced or endorsed by Ubisoft or any other third party.

Case Blue is available by digital download for $19.99 and will be available in a shipped boxed version within two weeks.
