Three distinctive play modes add variety to the gameplay. The quick aiming and shooting 'Action Mode' also enables you to utilise the destructible scenery to take cover when the action is getting too hot, shooting your way through choreographed gun battles and set pieces. 'Explore Mode' will see you moving normally through enemy territory searching for clues and evidence. 'Sniper Mode' puts you behind the telescopic sight on your rifle to cover your partner or take out the bad guys from a distance before moving back to 'Explore Mode' to finish them off.
