'Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow' (Xbox) Optimatch Issues Resolved

by Rainier on March 31, 2004 @ 10:34 a.m. PST

Ubisoft and Microsoft are pleased to announce that an autoupdate is now available online to address the issues with optimatch that Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow players experienced. The game will automatically update itself the next time you connect to XBOX Live. The updated game will no longer freeze when displaying optimatch or quickmatch results. Read more for details ...

Because the optimatch issue forced players to reboot their machine, we raced to fix it as quickly as possible and have been working around the clock on a solution since we became aware of the problem. In the interest of delivering a speedy solution, we had to focus solely on the optimatch problem, which meant that we couldn't address any of the other issues raised by various Xbox forums. But please be patient-we are already working on another autoupdate that will fix all known issues and improve on some feature. More information will follow. We wouldn't be able to enjoy the success of this great new game if we knew that we delivered anything less than a totally superior gameplay experience! We at Ubisoft, like you, love games.

We apologize for this inconvenience and wish you fierce and exciting games!
