1C Company's E3 2004 LineUp

1C Company unveiled today the 21 titles to be shown at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in May, 2004. The largest collection of interactive entertainment titles to date, the 1C Company is showing a blockbuster lineup across all genres of gaming, including first-person action titles, real-time strategy, simulation and role-playing games, set across history and in deep space, on both land and sea. 1C Company will be located at booth #6059 in Kentia Hall, in the heart of the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Axle Rage, PC & PlayStation®2: Axle Rage combines third-person action with motorcycle mayhem and hand-to-hand combat. Set in the dark post-apocalyptic city of Nailsdale, the game puts players in the role of Axle who’s been thrown into a whirlwind of dangerous events connected with the mysterious and highly addictive drug ‘miro’. Axle Rage uses a third-person fighting system and a unique style of motorcycle combat. Players will engage in fast-paced motorcycle battles and toe to toe combat using objects at hand as make shift weapons, special combo moves and white-knuckle daring to claim their spot as king of the road. Captain Blood, PC: Captain Blood is an action game based on the novels by Rafael Sabatini. Players take the role of a brave and noble corsair, following his intriguing and amazing adventures in 1685. The game's mission-based structure allows players a diverse battlefield on both land and sea, with ship to ship battles and swashbuckling sword fights. Players can experience directly controlled naval battles, manually firing ship cannons from the foredeck or navigate in third-person view while cannons aim automatically. Land missions place players in the character of Captain Blood, fighting multiple enemies while gamers parry, thrust and sidestep through different combinations against opponents. PT Boats: Knights of the Sea, PC: PT Boats: Knights of the Sea is a naval simulation that places gamers in charge of a mosquito fleet of the Allied Forces, Russia or Germany during the height of World War II. PT Boats: Knights of the Sea allows players to take command of a boat and control each member of the crew. Shoot down aircraft using machine guns and anti-aircraft guns, torpedo hostile destroyers and supply ships, "entertain" uninvited guests with cannon fire or plan strategic group attacks. Swashbucklers: Legacy of Drake, PC: Swashbucklers: Legacy of Drake is a third person action game chronicling the adventures of a young and desperate daredevil Captain Abraham 'Nightingale' Grey. As Captain Nightingale, player leads his 'Warble' cutter through bloody waters of the Caribbean. Gamers can sail the seas fending off naval attacks from the pirate scourge and English warships embroiled in the War of 1812. Players also can disembark the ship, fight and shoot enemies one on one to capture opposing ships, towns and beach villages. The game's narrative uses black humor and irony that follows the feel of the Caribbean in the 19th century when shipbuilding hadn't quite reached its pinnacle but the spirit of the age and the wonder of recent innovations in sailing technology inspired nautical heroes. You Are Empty, PC: You Are Empty is a first-person action game that places players in an exaggerated dark and obscure atmosphere of Soviet totalitarianism. The main character fights against mutants created by the Soviet super human program. The players are tasked to figure out what happened in the city full of mutants and stop it from spreading further. In the late fifties of the 20th century, leading Soviet scientists start experiments that alter human physiology and mentality in order to create super humans capable of building a bright future for communism all over the world. As a leader of one of the European nations in the XIII Century, gamers are tasked to test their steel against the neighboring countries and carve their names into history. Among the playable factions are the French, the English, the Germans, the Russians, the Spaniards and others. Gamers have to defend the crown against invading nations during the game’s three extensive campaigns. Experienced over two campaigns, players will be able to take charge of the advancing German forces as they march on Stalingrad, or assume the role of a Soviet commander whose aim is to liberate the city and decimate the 6th Army of Wehrmacht. Unlike many other WWII RTS games Stalingrad renders every event, taking into account all historical nuances to deliver an extremely high level of historical accuracy. World War I, PC: World War I is an RTS that orders player to assume the role of commander leading the forces of Germany, Russia or Allies. Gamers must be prepared to test their military leadership skills on the battlefields of Europe during one of the most costly wars of human life in mankind’s history (1914-1918). Players will have to use tactical skills and wit to win. But victory is not only a matter of tactics as players will have to organize the baseline properly, set priorities in targets and succeed in defensive knowledge. Brigade E5: New Jagged Union, PC: Brigade E5: New Jagged Union is a squad-based tactical game that places gamers in the small tropical nation of Palinero on the verge of civil war. The mission: hire a band of mercenaries and take control of the deteriorating situation before the country finds itself in complete ruin. The story offers players the opportunity to experience three different viewpoints of the conflict, to fight for either faction or work outside the political structure to achieve your own goals in the global domination. Unlike standard turn-based systems, Brigade E5: New Jagged Union does not use “action points” while in turn based mode, but takes into consideration the character’s skill and attributes resulting in the behavior of soldiers becoming more natural and diverse. Furthermore players can issue a chain of commands that troops will carry out automatically. The choice of weapons will satisfy even highly demanding fan, with more than 100 accurately modeled firearms, varied ammunition types, grenades, body armor and specialized equipment. Ascension to the Throne, PC: Ascension to the Throne is a classic turn-based strategy game with traditional RPG elements. In a world of fantasy, players will act as the last offspring of the ancient family Illiar, rightful rulers of Eden. After being cast far beyond the borders of the country, players will explore a new fascinating world, full of foes and friends as they crush hordes of enemies and find new followers to regain the title and ascend to the throne. The game features a combination of real-time movement around the game world with turn-based battles of up to 22 squads of 16 units each. A.I.M., Artificial Intelligence Machine, PC: A.I.M. is an action role-playing game unfolding in a sci-fi universe inhabited by androids. In a world where humans are but a vague memory, players assume role of an AI android traveling on a special floating vehicle with antigravity engines. Gliders are multipurpose combat vehicles, and the huge military zone was created to test them. The game combines combat action, trade, exploration, undertaking of various quests and missions, glider upgrades, armament purchase. The player enters a huge world made up of different zones, each with its own social and trade relations. Moving from zone to zone the gamers encounter different groups of A.I.M. that they can join as they gain access to different combat vehicles, technologies and upgrades. Space Rangers 2: Dominators, PC: Space Rangers 2 is a mix of intense space RPG laced with 3D RTS action planetside. 200 years after the first chapter of Space Rangers, a new, even more dangerous threat arises in the galaxy. A key planet in producing war androids has become self-aware with their own intellect and force of will, bent on conquering the galaxy one planet at a time. Freedom of choice is a distinguishing feature of the first part of Space Rangers saga and only develops further as players explore the massive world. BorderZone, PC: BorderZone is an action role-playing game that challenges players to assume the role of Olaf, one of the few remaining humans on the planet Terra. Forced to leave the safety of their outpost, gamers venture on quests and into battle, controlling up to five characters simultaneously while amassing weapons, survival skills and magic. Players create Olaf from several disciplines, including thief, magician or soldier. Characters are further developed in the game through group affiliations, moral classes and professions.
