'Emergency Mayhem' (PS2/Xbox) - Screens

by Rainier on June 10, 2004 @ 6:42 p.m. PDT

Combining chaotic driving sequences with arcade mini-games, you'll be in stitches controlling the frenzied police, fire service or paramedics as they dash around the city from one emergency situation to the next. With over 30 missions, it's a non-stop time crisis where you'll be rescuing people from burning buildings, defusing bombs and more.

00:01:04 Time is critical so race against the clock and across the city to reach the crises. Just as well you can break the law because it’s going to take frantic driving, reckless speeding and some special moves to get there. Go up on two wheels, slide it round the corners or maybe even just ram through the traffic - whatever it takes. Sound the siren at the right time and the traffic should clear the way.

00:00:46 You’ll get to drive 12 different vehicles across the police, fire and medical services - all with different handling and abilities. The goal is simple: Get to the emergency as fast as you can - before it’s too late!

00:00:38 When you arrive at the scene, it’s time to attend the emergency - this means mini-games and they’re all against the clock. In fact, there are over 70 different mini-games in Emergency Mayhem from putting out raging fires to performing mobile heart-transplants to ramming getaway cars off the road! The better you do at resolving the crises, the more extra time and points you’ll be awarded - you may even earn medals to unlock special items.

00:00:18 But there’s no time to stop. Once one emergency’s resolved, it’s off to the next. Resolve enough crises and you’ll unlock new sections of the city to add to your work load. The action never stops.

00:00:11 Got friends round? Then prove who’s best by playing frantic mini-games in the massive party mode.

00:00:07 And that’s not all…we’ve got some big plans too but we’re all out of time so they’ll just have to wait until next time.

00:00:02 Emergency Mayhem - Putting the urgency into emergency!

00:00:00 Time’s up.
