A few weeks ago, Ignition announced that they were bringing SNK's 'Metal Slug' to Europe (PS2/Xbox expected on October 2004), and today, it seems they are expanding their cooperation. Between September and early 2005, European console owners will be treated to home versions of some of SNK's most popular franchises, including: King of Fighters, Samurai Shodown, Metal Slug, and SNK vs. Capcom.

Along with these, will be the eagerly awaited King of Fighters: Maximum Impact – the series' first, explosive move to 3D.

"SNK games have always proved very popular with gamers," says Vijay Chadha, Managing Director, Ignition Entertainment, "We're committed to working with SNK to officially bring their titles to all PAL territories. We're all massive fans of SNK titles here at Ignition, and are very much looking forward to bringing the SNK brand back to Europe"

"IGNITION ENTERTAINMENT LIMITED is an energetic and original force in video game publishing in the PAL territories and we are pleased that SNK PLAYMORE/NEOGEO is teaming with them to bring our most popular titles to those markets," said Ben Herman, SNK NEOGEO USA CONSUMER CORPORATION President.

Ignition Entertainment will publish SNK PLAYMORE'S Metal Slug Advance and Metal Slug 3 for PlayStation 2 and Xbox (with Xbox Live Support) in October 2004.
