Dark Horizons: Lore (DH:L) is a persistent player first-person action game, in a near future Earth setting where factions fight for control of North America using remotely piloted Mechanized Assault Vehicles (MAVs). The faction wars are driven by player stats as they fight for control of objective throughout North America, and these stats and player management can be viewed online and in-game. Dark Horizons: Lore is built on a distributed server model that allows players to play online for free while offering the immersive qualities of subscription-based games.
