II. INSTALLATION

FLATOUT PC DEMO INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

After downloading the PC demo file
1. Extract the setup program from any archive if not already done so
2. Please close any other programs you have running
3. Run the setup.exe program to start the installation
4. Follow the on-screen instructions

Remember, that unless you are already running the latest DirectX(R) you need to install it before running the game. At the time of writing the latest version is DirectX(R) 9.0c.

DirectX(R) 9.0c installation:

1. Download DirectX(R) 9.0c from http://www.microsoft.com/directx
2. Run the installer. Follow the on-screen instructions.
3. Reboot the machine if requested

GETTING STARTED AFTER INSTALLATION:

1. Start FlatOut PC demo by opening the Start Menu
2. Open Programs, then Empire Interactive and then FlatOut PC demo
3. Click on the FlatOut PC demo selection to start the game
