Matrix Games announced its plans for the recently acquired publishing right for the Operational Art of War series as it has reached an agreement with the original designer and developer of The Operational Art of War, Norm Koger, to assist in updating the most recent version of the engine to assure full compatibility with the latest WinXP systems.

Matrix Games plans to publish an updated version of the latest Operational Art of War engine, including some fixes and tweaks for issues that have become known since the last major release.

David Heath, Director of Operations at Matrix Games, said, "The Operational Art of War has never been surpassed in its flexibility and adaptability to the full scope of 20th Century warfare. We are delighted that Norm Koger agreed to assist and advise us on this project to make sure that the updated version will receive some of the fixes and tweaks that have been asked for since Century of Warfare was released."

Matrix Games plans to release further information in the near future on update and publishing plans and schedules for this title.
