To create a comic, you need only select one of the 500 unique layout and design templates, drop in your captured digital images and insert text bubbles, icons, captions and clipart to bring to life whatever story you can imagine. Comic Book Creator will work with any jpeg, bmp or gif digital image, and the retail version will allow users to share their masterpiece with friends by printing or exporting the image into an HTML or PDF file for online distribution.

Planetwide Games's Comic Book Creator will be released in November 2005 and will sell for $19.99 through specialty video game, electronic and mass market retailers in the US and Canada.

Consumers are now able to pre-order the Comic Book Creator Self-Publishing Software at GameStop and EB Games retailers throughout North America, as well as their online websites or at Planetwide Games websites including http://www.planetwidecomics.com.

Minimum system requirements include a PC running Windows 2000 or higher, a Pentium 4 processor 128 MB of RAM, a CD ROM and a hard drive with 1 GB of free space.
