Mark Beaumont joins Capcom with an extensive industry background that spans more than 23 years. As senior vice president, sales and marketing for Capcom Entertainment, Beaumont is responsible for all facets of the company's sales and marketing efforts in North America. He was most recently senior vice president, entertainment for Midway Games, Inc., where he was responsible for North America sales, the company's European operations, product planning and new product acquisition. His industry experience includes management-level positions at Psygnosis, Atari and Activision. Beaumont received his bachelor of science in business administration at the University of California, Berkeley.
Midori Yuasa heads up Capcom's new mobile and interactive division as general manager and senior vice president. Yuasa and her Los Angeles-based team will establish Capcom in the mobile entertainment industry by bringing Capcom products to mobile phones in North America. Yuasa joins Capcom from Sony Pictures Digital where she served as executive director of mobile business. Prior to joining Sony Pictures Digital, Yuasa was among the first business planners for Sony's worldwide digital cellular telephone business launch, specifically working to establish Sony's Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) business in San Diego. She also worked to establish Sony's first PDA business, where her focus was the unification of Sony's hardware and content groups.
Michael Rubinelli joins Capcom as vice president, business development/third party product acquisition and development. In this newly created position, Rubinelli is responsible for evaluating and acquiring product from external game developers to be published domestically or internationally by Capcom. Rubinelli comes to Capcom with more than 13 years of industry experience in product acquisition and development. Prior to joining the company he worked as a consultant for Take-Two Interactive. Preceding that assignment, he worked at THQ as vice president of product development and at Midway Games as vice president of product acquisition and vice president of third party development. Rubinelli began his career at Electronic Arts where he was a producer.
The new executives will report to Hiroshi Tobisawa, president of Capcom Entertainment.
