"August, 1996, Chechnya. There have been battles in Grozniy for several days. Large groups of unlawful military units leaded by the field commander Aslan Maskhadov entered the city from different directions and took under control most of the strategically important spots. MIA RF hostel and headquarters are blocked by the large terrorists' forces. After long and fierce defense of the FSS hostel, where terrorists used heavy arms and armored vehicles, the Russian command decided to break through the terrorists' ring. After that the group must advance for several blocks and go out for the tram depot to the post of the MIA RF army".

The demo-game is available now for download. Please, follow this link (361 Mb).

Playing the demo version you will face one the most dramatic episodes of the counter terrorist's operation. Being realistic in everything is the game's motto. All missions have historical counterparts, and some of them were kept under secrecy until recent times.

As for the demo-mission your objectives will be the following:

• Get through to the post of the MIA RF army;

• Prevent terrorists' attack the post;

• Minimize casualties among the staff of the army.

You are the part of the elite unit, the soldier of "Alfa" force. Owing to the help of former and acting members of "Alfa", the developers succeeded to build up the deep tactical setting. The cold calculation of every movement, steel nerves and zero emotion are necessary, because Special Forces never fight like happy-go-lucky. But the decent amount of luck and adrenaline is also required, because Special Forces are always to risk.

People play the major role in game; therefore each soldier is given individual personal traits, determining his behavior and interaction with other squad members.

Deep immersion into the game is made possible by advanced game engine. It includes ragdoll physics, unique animation system, realistic ballistics and realistic materials' physics. There is nothing more exciting to shoot the enemy through the closed door or blow up his shelter with bazooka.

Sharp-looking graphics system of the utmost quality provides photorealistic textures, large, high-detailed battlefields and objects. Grass, trembling in the wind, trees, brought to life up to the last leaf, post-effect “Bloom” - this does not even nearly describe all features made possible by the game engine.

Once the story is finished and you get to see the ending movie - that's where the game begins. After defeating the AI, try taking on a real-life opponent. Internet or local connection, HotSeat or play by e-mail will allow you to escape the real world for several hours, prolonging the game's lifespan to infinite.
