Smarties: Meltdown follows the crusade of Big Blue, a hero Smartie whose mission is to save the Smarties 'Factory Ship' from the invasion of DR Soursweet and his stroopers.
DR Soursweet, thwarted by the children of Earth turning their noses up at his own sugary creations the 'stroopers', has decided to take control of the Smarties factory. His sugar coated Stroopers quickly overrun the factory, shutting down production and imprisoning all the Smarties on board. All but one that is.....The Hero Big Blue.
