'Dynasty Warriors' (PSP) Gets Release Date - Screens

KOEI today announced that Dynasty Warriors for the PSP will be available on the first day of the handheld system's North American launch. Dynasty Warriors transports players onto the virtual battlefields of Ancient China to experience the thrill of fighting legions of ruthless enemy soldiers. Gamers can choose up to 42 playable characters, each wielding powerful weapons and lethal fighting skills.

The martial arts-themed Tactical Action game is already a top-seller overseas. Out of the more than 20 titles currently available for the system in Japan, Dynasty Warriors for PSP is the top-ranked action game and one of the top games overall based on unit sales. As a franchise KOEI's Dynasty Warriors line of video games has generated over 7 million units in sales worldwide, since the original game was released for the PlayStation game console in 1997.

For the first time on any handheld platform, Dynasty Warriors transports players onto the virtual battlefields of Ancient China to experience the thrill of fighting legions of ruthless enemy soldiers. Gamers can choose up to 42 playable characters, each wielding powerful weapons and lethal fighting skills.
