Tannhauser Gate Pulls the Plug on 'Mimesis Online'

by Rainier on March 9, 2005 @ 8:39 p.m. PST

Tannhauser Gate announced today that it will shut down its post-apocalyptic MMORPG Mimesis Online. "Mimesis Online has been a great journey that we started back in 1998, and released in 2002. It was a very ambitious project and one of the first Massively Multiplayer Online Games set in a post-apocalyptic world. Mimesis Online was a pioneer in the genre in many ways. We now feel it is time to use all the experience and technology to move to next projects. Goodbye!" (thanks Blues)
