'Monster Hunter 2' (PS2) Revealed
by Rainier on June 1, 2005 @ 7:08 p.m. PDT
The latest Famitsu issue has word that Capcom is working on a standalone sequel for its online RPG, Monster Hunter. Improvements will include more weapons, a greater focus on grouping, and a much larger environment, with a dynamic day/night cycle, including season changing. This will have an effect on overall gameplay, as certain animals will only be accessible during specific times of the day. Owners of Monster Hunter 2 will also be able to connect with its little PSP brother, Monster Hunter Portable. Expected release date is end of the year in Japan.
