Get Virtual RC Racing v2 off WP (24mb)
Thank you for downloading Virtual RC Racing. The software is copy-protected. Follow these instructions to install the game. Without completing these steps the software cannot be used.
1. SIGN UP ON THE VRC WEBSITE
Go to www.virtualrc.com and use ‘Sign up’ to register as a VRC member. Use a valid e-mail address as you will receive an activation e-mail from VRC.
Make sure you write down your username and password, the same must be used in the Virtual RC Racing software.
2. ACTIVATE YOUR VRC MEMBER ACCOUNT
After you have registered you will receive the activation e-mail. Click on the link in the e-mail and enter the activation code. Your VRC member account is now active.
3. INSTALL VIRTUAL RC RACING
Double-click on the downloaded file 'VRC Installation 2005_0_5_1.msi'. In order to proceed the installation you must accept the User Agreement. VRC will now be installed on your computer.
4. ENTER USERNAME AND PASSWORD
After the installation is finished start VRC and select ‘Game options’.
Under ‘Online options & Physics’ enter the same username and password as used on the VRC website (see step 1).
6. SELECT YOUR INPUT DEVICE (CONTROLLER)
Under ‘Race options’ and ‘Input device’ select the type of controller you will use for VRC.
7. CALIBRATE YOUR CONTROLLER
Click on the Calibrate button and follow the instructions to calibrate your input device.
8. UNLOCK THE TRACKS
The included tracks must be unlocked. This is an automatic process but requires that your computer is connected to the Internet. Select ‘Offline practice’. A dialog box will appear to indicate which track will be unlocked. Just click on ‘Accept’, the track will then automatically be unlocked. Continue until both the tracks are unlocked. This needs to be done only once.
9. PLAY VIRTUAL RC RACING
After the RC Speedway and the Oslo track are unlocked you can now play Virtual RC Racing. Continue choosing the scale and the car brand, the set-up and the track. You are now ready for your first run with Virtual RC Racing. More game information can be found in the VRC Help-file (the most right icon in the tool bar at the top of your screen).
