Lighthouse Interactive Game Publishing today announced its entry into the interactive entertainment industry. Formed by several industry veterans, several people from Dutch publisher Project 3 Int., Lighthouse is looking forward to providing developers with an alternative choice for bringing their titles to a worldwide audience.

Lighthouse’s initial publishing strategy will primarily focus on delivering high quality games for the PC platform across Europe and to territories globally. The company intends to shift its product focus towards console and multi-platform titles in the course of 2006. Lighthouse hits the market with an exciting line-up that will see 4 games being released within the next 6 months.

CEO Erik Schreuder sums it all up: “The industry has gone through some rough patches over the last few years but we feel that better times are ahead and we want to be a strong part of them. I feel these are exciting times for a new company like ours. We’re very fortunate to be in this young and growing industry, being part of and hopefully impacting the culture of generations to come. Navigating entertainment, that’s our goal.”

Lighthouse will be making further announcements regarding its line-up in the coming weeks.
