THQ Brings 'Gunstar Future Heroes' (GBA) To Europe - Screens

THQ and SEGA Europe today announced a co-publishing agreement for Gunstar Future Heroes for the GBA in all territories excluding North America and Asia. Gunstar Future Heroes is a 2D shooter offering the relentless action, precision gunplay, and brilliant visuals that have become the trademark of Treasure, the game's legendary development team.

"The game has an incredibly well-respected legacy and with Treasure once again taking charge of the development, we know we that we have a genre-defining product to bring to market."

Sequel to one of the most critically acclaimed 2D games of all time, Gunstar Future Heroes sees its heroes, Red and Blue, fighting a desperate struggle to prevent a stone of great power from falling into the hands of an evil empire; an empire intent on resurrecting the nefarious God of Ruin. With both characters taking on the same adventure using different paths the explosive, the action-packed story changes depending on the chosen difficulty, giving the player the ultimate choice of six routes through the game. The player will hurtle through six action-packed levels using a variety of explosive weaponry including rapid-fire machine guns and lasers.
