'Conflict: Global Terror' (PS2/Xbox/PC) Now Called 'Conflict: Global Storm'

Eidos Interactive today announces that the forthcoming instalment of its best-selling Conflict series, Conflict: Global Terror, will now be called Conflict: Global Storm across all PAL territories, effective immediately.

Conflict: Global Storm brings the series into the 21st century. Using a 100% rebuilt engine, it boasts radically enhanced graphics and AI and is fully playable co-operatively online, a clear generation above previous instalments.

The action focuses on an elite rapid response Special Forces unit, re-uniting the four original members of the Desert Storm series, which must overcome fictitious far right neo-Nazi terrorists over many different countries, including Columbia, Philippines and South Korea.

It is the fourth title in the best-selling series, developed by Bath-based Pivotal Games, which to date has sold over six million units worldwide.

It will be released on 30 September 2005 on PlayStation 2, Microsoft Xbox and PC.
