'Galactica' Goes Gold

Galactica evolved out of Web Space Alliance, and after two years of development Galactica the space conquest game by Blue Gecko Entertainment has finally reached the Gold stage.

The game challenges players to build an empire by colonising and conquering thousands of planets with hundreds of competing players.

The fully developed game focuses on the expansion of empires rather than planet building, features include:

  • Fleet management, waypoints, fleet battles, invasions and orbital bombing.
  • Planet management, resources, defences, buildings, population and shipyards.
  • Research – Mining, defences, propulsion, weapons, spying etc.
  • Diplomacy – alliances, pacts and in game chat, messages.
  • Different planet types, ship types, research options
  • Fleets/Ships are managed via the mouse point and click in the game client.

The game is free to play with an option to subscribe to Blue Gecko and enhance the gaming experience.
