With all-new features, improved gameplay and a depth only seen from Sports Interactive, Football Manager 2007 offers a management simulation that is second to none.

By selling 91,111 units (according to the Chart-Track panel of retails), Sports Interactive can lay claim to being the developer of the UK’s top three fastest selling PC games of all time (two of which being Football Manager 2006 and Football Manager 2007), thus cementing its position as probably the leading sports management developer in the world.

Critical acclaim from press has flowed in with Football Manager 2007 achieving the highest ever review scores for the Football Manager series so far. The latest and greatest addition includes over 100 new features designed to help both players new to the Football Manager® series and to give experienced fans a new depth of management to play with. The recently released Football Manager 2007 demos were met with massive demand and an extremely enthusiastic response, paving the way for a fantastic opening weekend of sales and underlining its huge popularity across the world.

“Football Manager 2007 is undoubtedly the best version of Football Manager we’ve ever made. By working extremely hard on making it both as user-friendly as possible and adding a plethora of new features to please the long term fans we’ve produced a game that’s suitable for everyone,” said Miles Jacobson, Managing Director, Sports Interactive. “The team at Sports Interactive are thrilled with the game’s reception and with the pace it’s sold over the first weekend and we’re delighted to have the massive support from the Marketing, PR and Sales teams at SEGA.

“A huge thank you must also go to the community we have for Football Manager who are a constant source of ideas, encouragement and support throughout the development process.”

From the moment it kicked off, Football Manager 2007 has enjoyed a wide range of strong coverage across a broad range of media, receiving large features in the likes of national newspapers, specialist games press and lifestyle press giving further examples of how popular the Football Manager franchise has become. In addition, the Sports Interactive MySpace.com blogs became extremely popular and regularly featured within MySpace.com’s top 25 global blogs.

Football Manager 2007 for PC, Mac and Intel Mac is now available across Europe. Football Manager 2007 for the Xbox 360 and Football Manager Handheld 2007 for PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system are both set for release across Europe before Christmas, 2006.
