Fireglow, known for its Sudden Strike series, announced expanding of its business operations by founding a publishing label and two new game development studios, one for casual games, while the second will work on triple A titles such as Sudden Strike Online and Stranger Online.

Fireglow Games Publishing will focus on the marketing and promotion of first- and third-party products, with the goal of North American and Western European market penetration through publishing and distribution agreements. Fireglow Games Publishing will be headed by former CDV Software Entertainment AG CEO, Christoph Syring.

"I was fortunate to be involved with the successful first Sudden Strike titles and oversaw a dramatic growth period of CDV's North American office. I am delighted to apply this experience for Fireglow Games Publishing," commented Christoph Syring.

The new Fireglow Casual Games studio will focus on the development of games for casual audiences and will publish titles under the newly established "Plumeboom" label. Initial Plumeboom titles will be publicly unveiled at the Casual Games Association Europe: East 2006 ("Casuality 2006") trade show, held in Kiev, the Ukraine, from November 16 -18, 2006.

The second new development studio, Fireglow Online Games, will focus on the creation of games with strong or exclusive online gameplay components. Two titles currently in development under the Fireglow Online Games brand include the Stranger Online and the Sudden Strike Online. Both titles are based on the RTS/RPG hybrid Stranger and the World War II RTS Sudden Strike 3: Arms for Victory games, respectively, developed by Fireglow .
