'NCAA March Madness 07' (PS2/X360) Demo Coming on Xbox Live - Screens

NCAA March Madness 07 delivers an authentic college basketball gameplay experience by offering custom playbooks for each team through the Floor General Playcalling system, the Lockdown Stick that allows your players to pressure the ball, force turnovers and harass opponents on the court, and an enhanced Dynasty Mode™ with new School Pride and Recruiting features that let you build your school into a national powerhouse. In addition, the popular voices of college basketball are back with ESPN’s Dick Vitale and Brad Nessler calling the action courtside.

Defending NCAA Division I champion University of Florida is the top rated team in NCAA March Madness 07.. The computer-generated preseason poll from NCAA March Madness 07 ranks the Gators as the top team in NCAA Division I men’s basketball, followed by Kansas (2), North Carolina (3), Arizona (4) and LSU (5).

NCAA March Madness 07 debuts on the Xbox 360 with a strategic basketball gameplay experience and all-new interactive environments that capture the intensity and atmosphere that characterize college basketball. Fans will have the opportunity to download a NCAA March Madness 07 demo from Xbox Live Marketplace on November 20. This demo will feature No. 1 ranked Florida against the No. 2 Kansas Jayhawks.

“With insight from college basketball coaches across the country, as well as ESPN college basketball analyst Doug Gottlieb, we’ve established detailed ratings for every team and player in the game,” said NCAA March Madness 07 producer Sean O’Brien. “We believe our ratings accurately reflect the college basketball landscape and help create a rich and authentic experience while playing NCAA March Madness 07.”

The EA Sports Top 25 ignores current injuries to players and projects all players on all teams to be healthy and performing up to the expectations of the experts consulted when NCAA March Madness 07 ships to stores across the country in January 2007.

According to a computerized simulation using NCAA March Madness 07, UCLA is projected to win the EA Sports Maui Invitational over Memphis, 79-74. Three teams in this year’s EA Sports Maui Invitational, which runs November 20-22, are ranked in the new EA Sports Top 25, including UCLA (11), Memphis (14), and Georgia Tech (21).

Fans will also be able to download and listen to ESPN radio podcasts and have access to ESPN Radio SportsCenter updates every 20 minutes, the ESPN Ticker and ESPNews.

NCAA March Madness 07 is in development at EA Canada in Vancouver, B.C., and will be available on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation2 computer entertainment system. The game is not yet rated by the ESRB.
