Ubisoft Confirms Wii Launch Lineup - Screens

Ubisoft announced that GT Pro Series, Monster 4X4: World Circuit, Rayman Raving Rabbids and Red Steel will be available on North American store shelves on Wii's launch day, Nov. 19. Splinter Cell Double Agent will ship Nov. 28, followed by Open Season on Nov. 30 and Far Cry Vengeance in Dec.

"Ubisoft is proud to celebrate the launch of the Wii with such a diverse lineup of video game titles available the day the new console hits shelves," said Tony Key, vice president of marketing at Ubisoft. "We are excited to be introducing such a broad lineup of quality titles comprised of new intellectual properties and established franchises. And, we're thrilled to bring many more titles in the coming weeks for consumers to enjoy."

Titles shipping to retail this week:

GT Pro Series:

Immerse yourself in the fast-paced action of this Wii-exclusive car-racing game featuring more than 80 customizable licensed cars. Each game includes a free steering wheel.

Racing game, rated "E" for Everyone, MSRP $49.99.

Monster 4X4: World Circuit:

Use the Wii Remote to perform spectacular stunts, jump and race the most powerful Monster Trucks, and go head-to-head in pulse-pounding off-road competitions all over the world. Each game includes a free steering wheel.

Truck racing, rated "E" for Everyone, MSRP, $49.99.

Rayman Raving Rabbids:

Experience the return of Rayman when his world is threatened by a devastating invasion of crazed, out-of-control bunnies. Whether in crazy Kung-Fu action or cow toss, players will use the Wii Remote in the most imaginative and innovative ways possible to defeat these wacky rabbids.

Red Steel:

This Wii-exclusive title takes place in modern-day Japan and challenges players to master both the ancient art of the katana and the sophisticated technology of modern firearms. Red Steel also features four-player split-screen multiplayer with traditional modes like Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch, as well as an all-new objective-based Killer mode.

First-person action, rated "T" for Teen, MSRP $49.99.

Monster 4X4: World Circuit and GT Pro Series come with a free steering wheel to use in conjunction with the Wii Remote. Additional steering wheels can be purchased for MSRP $19.99 at www.ubi.com or at participating retail outlets.
