'Raw Danger' (PS2) Announced - Screens

by Rainier on Dec. 12, 2006 @ 4:18 p.m. PST

Agetec's survival game Raw Danger, previously known as S.O.S : The Final Escape, requires you to fend for yourself in a city surrounded by mountains, ocean, and rivers that is experiencing torrential rains. All order has collapsed and there is no choice but to escape. The dangers are endless – washed away bridges, collapsing buildings, and flash floods all stand in the way of safety.

Players must think on their feet and utilize creative survival skills to have any hope of seeing their family again. Body temperature and health decrease when players are wet or in cold weather too long - they must find places to warm themselves and scrap together meals from whatever they can find. In the end, players must run, climb, jump, and crawl their way out of this devastated city, while constantly trying to piece together information from emergency broadcasts and other victims of the disaster.

“While no natural disaster is a game, Raw Danger does explore the more fantastic elements of a major event,” said Mark Johnson, Vice President of Production and Marketing at Agetec, Inc. “The experience of trying to survive through a natural disaster can be incredibly engrossing.”

Raw Danger, exclusively for PS2, is scheduled for February 2007
