At 11:00 a.m. GMT, the first 500 testers will be able to log into the colony tower of planet Da Vinci. As colonists inhabiting a rampaged, mile-high tower they will be the first to have to figure out how to ensure the survival of the colony.
Keeping with the open-minded approach that Runestone Game Development has taken in discussing ideas and game details of Seed in the past, there will be no Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) for the beta testers to sign.
“We really value the close connection we have with our tight-knit community. Forgoing an NDA will aid us in receiving input on all kinds of issues, and the community in-turn will truly feel as though they are influencing us in our on-going development of Seed,” continued Kristensen. “It’s a win-win situation.”
There is still plenty of opportunity for players to become testers, with up steadily toward launch, growing the population from the pool of beta applicants and ending with a stress test in March, where the community will be encouraged to come by the thousands to give Seed a try.
