Wolfenstein 3D is a landmark title in the history of both Apogee Software and id Software's histories. It's widely regarded as launching the popularity of the 3D videogame genre. Some years ago, Apogee briefly sold an addon pack for Wolfenstein 3D called "The Wolfenstein 3D Super Upgrades" pack. This addon pack contained over 800 new levels for Wolfenstein 3D, a random level generator, and a map editor.

This item was only sold for a brief period of time, and was discontinued ages ago. We're now bringing it back for fans of Wolfenstein 3D to check out.

A few notes:

0) BACK UP YOUR COPY OF WOLF3D BEFORE INSTALLING THIS!

1) This requires v1.4g of the registered Wolfenstein 3D to work right. This archive contains a directory structure that needs to be unpacked into your Wolfenstein 3D game directory. Other than this, we offer no support in helping to getting this freeware release running. YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN HERE.

2) This game was released before Windows 2000 & Windows XP were released, and as such, these more modern operating systems might have issues in running the game. A third party program called DOSBox has been known to have been helpful in getting the game running. You can obtain DOSBox here: http://dosbox.sourceforge.net

3) This game is released as freeware. That's not to be confused with public domain, abandonware (which is illegal), or releasing something under the GPL. This is a freeware release, which means we retain full legal rights to the title and it's materials. You are free to play the game as we've released it, but not free to "do whatever you want with it", which includes selling it or otherwise using the materials in other projects.

Enjoy the Wolf Super Upgrades
