by Rainier on May 31, 2006 @ 6:24 a.m. PDT

Infinium Labs today provided an operations update stating that it is still working on the Phantom Game Service and is currently licensing technology to well-established manufacturers of PCs and digital home entertainment, although no mention of the actual console is made. The Phantom Lapboard, currently in a prototype state, is scheduled for October.

"We are on a fast pace crossing over the threshold of manufacturing and marketing our first product, the Phantom Lapboard," noted Greg Koler, Infinium Labs' President and CEO. "Everything is on schedule for first arrivals of the Phantom Lapboard this October in the US market."

Infinium Labs is moving forward with Itron Technology Inc., a worldwide leading manufacturer and marketer of input devices such as keyboards and mice, to manufacture the Phantom® Lapboard, a combination keyboard/mouse peripheral designed to enhance video game play on PCs. Infinium Labs will evaluate prototypes in June and July and plans to proceed with manufacturing production in September to meet its October shipping date.

Infinium Labs is nearing agreements with worldwide companies to handle the logistics, warehousing/distribution, customer relations management and fulfillment services to support the marketing of the Phantom Lapboard in the US and European markets.

Infinium Labs is planning major revisions to the design and content of its website to incorporate direct marketing capabilities including an online merchant store to support business to consumer and business to business transactions with credit card banking services. The Company is reviewing marketing agency proposals to support interactive online marketing programs and expects to make agency selections in June.

Infinium Labs is moving forward in development of the Phantom Game Service, anticipated to be the first end-to-end, on-demand game service for delivery to the living room. The Company is engaged in discussions to license the Phantom Game Service technology to well-established manufacturers of PCs and digital home entertainment centers.
