Gamer's Gate Picks Up 'Loco Mania' and 'Ship Simulator 2006'

by Rainier on Sept. 7, 2006 @ 3:50 p.m. PDT

Gamer’s Gate and Lighthouse Interactive are proud to announce the addition of two new titles to the digital platform. Simulators Loco Mania and Ship Simulator 2006 are available now to customers on Gamer’s Gate and will offer gamers two, very different and exciting challenges.

“Loco Mania” is a unique, quick thinking logic/strategy game that puts players in charge of managing an entire railway network. Players have to control switches, semaphores and train directions to get the trains through the system as quickly and efficiently as possible. Each level will put players through a multitude of tasks from getting trains to their destination on time to guiding trains with hazard laden cargo safely home. Successfully clearing the trains through the railway system improves the player’s score and unlocks maps to take the game through progressively challenging levels.

Ship Simulator 2006 is a revolutionary new sim game that puts players at the helm of some of the most varied and detailed ships to be found at sea, where they will need to perform a multitude of tasks, all set within a stunning 3D environment. Players will take control of a wide array of ship types, from massive cargo ships to speedboats, yachts, water taxis and even the mighty Titanic. The waters you sail are also as varied as the ships, from the biggest harbors in the world, such as Rotterdam and Hamburg, to the calm aqua marine waters of the Thai Phi Phi Islands. Gamers will experience how challenging it is to steer the Titanic through shallow water, or just how it feels to navigate a cargo tanker or a tug boat.

“Loco Mania” is available for $19.99 and “Ship Simulator 2006” for $26.99.
