MGS4: Guns of the Patriots is set in a war-torn future where huge conglomerates, including those in the Middle East and South America, fight for supremacy using armies of hand-picked mercenaries. Confirming rumors from earlier this year, Konami announced it has delayed MGS 4 from its original Winter 2007 date until Q2 2008, "in order to make further improvements to the quality of the game and provide even greater enjoyment for more customers worldwide."
