Pirates of the Spanish Main introduces a fleet of 68 new virtual ships for players to collect – stealthy corvettes, majestic galleons and speedy schooners – and complete crew rosters for the Spanish, English and Pirate navies. The expansion also adds even more “treasure” icons that can be placed on the online map and protected or looted from other digital buccaneers. Single digital game packs are available for $3.99 each, and include all the tools necessary for play online. Digital game pack boxes, which include 18 digital game packs of Pirates of the Spanish Main, as well as one random Limited Edition bonus ship from the Spanish Main set, are available for $65.00.

Along with the previously released Pirates of Davy Jones’ Curse, the Spanish Main expansion kicks off an exciting schedule of releases and activities for 2007, with a digital expansion scheduled for release every other month.

Currently in development at SOE’s Denver studios Pirates of the Spanish Main is scheduled to launch Tuesday, February 27, 2007.
