by Rainier on Feb. 20, 2007 @ 9:23 a.m. PST

Epic Games reveals that it will be demonstrating the latest Unreal Engine 3 features at GDC 2007 in closed door presentations, as well as having its usual multiple speaker sessions, dedicated space in the Career Pavilion (CP 1502), special press sessions for the industry’s media and a pre-GDC seminar for Unreal Engine 3 licensees.

Epic will once again demonstrate the latest Unreal Engine 3 features in a private theater within their ExpoSuite, ES 5718, located in the North Hall. Hours for Epic’s Exposuite are Wednesday March 7th 9AM – 6:30PM, Thursday March 8th 9AM-6:30PM and Friday March 9th 9AM-3:00PM.

Come and see why Unreal Engine 3 will be powering several significant next-generation games from some of the industry’s top developers and publishers.

Those wishing to see Unreal Engine 3 demonstrations, or make appointments to meet with Epic Games, should contact Mark Rein by email – mark.rein@epicgames.com – please specify three possible day/time combinations as well, the number of people you plan to bring and whether you simply want to see a demonstration of the technology, chat with Epic business representatives, chat with Epic technical representatives or other matters. Availability of seating and times may be limited so please respond early. If you’re unable to confirm an appointment in advance please drop by and Epic will do their best to accommodate you.

Unreal Engine licensees, qualified prospective licenĀsees, and members of the Unreal Engine Integrated Partners Program are invited to sign up for our Unreal Engine 3 licensee full-day seminar at the Moscone Center West Hall on Tuesday March 6, 2007.

The agenda for the seminar includes separate tracks for technology creators (i.e. programmers) and content creators (artists, animators, level designers, audio, etc.) There will be plenty of Q&A time in the schedule and a chance for licensees to meet face-to-face with key Unreal Engine 3 development personnel. GDC passes are not required to attend the Unreal Engine Licensee Seminar. Lunch and coffee breaks will be served and attendance is free of charge. Advance registration is required. To register for the seminar or view more information please visit the following web page: http://www.unrealtechnology.com/seminar/
