'Arena Wars Reloaded' - v2.0.15 Patch Available NOW

Sporting various new features, and a new graphics engine, Arena Wars Reloaded is an action strategy game focusing once again on fast-paced RTS action and multiplayer mayhem. Pushed back from its original May release, Arena Wars Reloaded is now scheduled for June 22.

Arena Wars Reloaded offers a unique combination of action and strategy in its fast-paced RTS battles: New graphics, a wealth of new features, proven balancing and many innovative ideas will once again attract fans of accessible strategy gaming.

With modern graphics technology, Arena Wars Reloaded’s RTS battles have made a leap in graphical quality. All units and buildings for Arena Wars Reloaded were redesigned and rebuilt from the ground up. Models with up to ten times the polygon count and modern shader effects make the game a graphical highlight in the RTS genre. Elaborate normal mapping of all units, buildings and terrain guarantees for detailed battles and realistic mayhem. New terrain shader effects and post-screen shaders round out the game’s look.

Patch log 2.0.15

  • Units in turrets will now correctly get their kills counted.
  • Chat messages are now limited in length. A maximum of 200 characters is allowed for each entry.
  • You can no longer play the tutorial maps directly from the tutorial screen. You can still play the respective map manually, however, some of these maps are not meant to be played outside of the tutorials.
  • Destroyers teleporting into an upgrade building that is already in use are once again able to fire and use their special.
  • The player logo selected in the player profile for online games is now also correctly used in game. Previously the logo selected for single player and LAN games was used in online games.
  • The famous distortion effects are now visible once again.
  • Copying music files using the ingame menu will now correctly copy the files into the music subdirectory.
  • Turrets being owned by holographic units will no longer do damage.
  • When rejoining the chat screen after playing a game AND watching the replay the server no longer thinks you're still in the game.
  • The turret will now use the upgraded spider shoot sound effect when firing
  • The icons for the turret and resource building in the army controller at the bottom of the screen are now placed correctly.
  • An error has been fixed that prevented correct switching between shader settings.
  • The games list in the online mode is now updated correctly when game settings change.
  • You can no longer join games marked as "Closed".
  • The listbox in the "Options" -> "Controls" menu is no longer sortable (was never supposed to be and makes no sense at all).
