Warner Bros. Delays 'Looney Tunes' (NDS/PS2/Wii/X360) Titles

by Rainier on Aug. 17, 2007 @ 4:22 p.m. PDT

Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal is an action-adventure game featuring 7 playable Looney Tunes characters, and a special secret character. In Duck Amuck players will compete against Daffy through a series of mini-games, with the goal of driving Daffy's temperature, and his temper, through the roof. Both titles are delayed until October 9, 2007.

Engaging in one or two player cooperative gameplay, gamers will find themselves immersed in fast-paced combat, puzzle solving challenges and vehicle-based action in rich environments inspired by the popular, outlandish cartoon tales. Players will command an arsenal of ACME melee and projectile weapons in outrageous battles and travel to various locations such as Camelot, Ancient Egypt, Mars, the Wild West, the trenches of World War II and more.

Xbox 360 version will allow players to fully utilize real-time physics and animation blending and Xbox Live online entertainment network will allow for two player cooperative game play. Players will also be able to take full advantage of the gesture controls in fighting, spin attacks, smash attacks and driving on the Wii version.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will launch the all-new action-packed Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal, developed by RedTribe, videogame on October 9.

Published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developed by WayForward Technologies, Looney Tunes: Duck Amuck lets players wield the Nintendo DS(TM) stylus to irritate, aggravate and infuriate their own Daffy Duck in humorous ways. In the game inspired by the classic Duck Amuck cartoon, players will compete against Daffy through a series of mini-games that range from retro inspired favorites to modern, innovative gameplay interactions, with the goal of driving Daffy's temperature, and his temper, through the roof. Looney Tunes: Duck Amuck will also feature wireless game play allowing players to not only gang up on Daffy as a team but also battle each other in head-to-head competition.

Looney Tunes: Duck Amuck is an NDS exclusive, scheduled for release on October 9, 2007.
