Crytek Opens Up Shop in Korea

Crytek announced that it has set up shop in South-Korea, led by gaming industry veteran Young Mok Park. The team will expand Crytek's business into Asian markets, starting with Crytek's engine licensing business, with a dedicated engine support team for their existing and new partners in Korea and Asia.

“Establishing an office in Seoul was the logical step to expand our business in Korea as well as giving our engine licensees in this region the best possible support, through direct access to a dedicated local team. When we first met Young Mok Park, David Yoo and James Hong we instantly knew that they were the right team to kick off our Korean business to the Crytek standard.”,said Faruk Yerli, Managing Director of Crytek GmbH.
