US Army Allots $50 Million for New Game Development Program

Last week the US Army already revealed that it was using the America's Army technology to develop a new driving simulator to help wounded service members return to driving independence, but that is not the only product being worked on. According to Stars & Stripes, the US Army will launch a games for training" program in 2010, with a budget of $50 million, to develop a new Game After Ambush, based on a commercial game, and will accommodate a limited number of players in a relatively small virtual battle space.
