IO Interactive Founders On A Recruiting Spree

by Rainier on Dec. 12, 2008 @ 5:00 p.m. PST

Earlier this year the Founders of IO Interactive, creators of the Hitman franchise, formed a development company Reto-Moto, with focus on online multi-player titles. While its first titles have yet to be announced, the Swedish outfit has just added six experienced industry professionals to its team.

Jens Albretsen, Peter Fleckenstein, Jesper Kieler, Henning Semler, Hakon Steinø and Andreas Thomsen all join Reto-Moto and bring with them a track record of successful collaboration from their time together as Senior Programmer, Game Director, Hi-Resolution Graphic Artist, Lead Render Programmer, Lead Programmer and Programmer respectively at IO Interactive.

Speaking from Copenhagen, Neil Donnell says "Here at Reto-Moto we are all very pleased to have Jens, Peter, Jesper, Henning, Hakon and Andreas on board. Growing our team through the acquisition of talented, experienced professionals with a flawless hit rate of success, aligns with our business plan for strategic growth. A proven working relationship from prior collaboration on multiple Hitman titles only accelerates the integration process, and assures the team's creative and commercial success."

"We are all delighted to be joining Reto-Moto, as an innovative ground breaking company with a bold future. It's an exciting time in the games industry and to be part of venture such as Reto-Moto is a great opportunity" added Peter Fleckenstein.
